Yvonne served as a United States Naval Reserves
Intelligence Officer and a Blue-Gold Information Officer for
the United States Naval Academy. When her two sons were
young, she was active in local public schools and Boy Scout
organizations.

Currently, she is an active member of the Memphis Bar
Association, serving as chair of the professionalism
committee.

In recent years, as a public service, Yvonne develops and
produces an annual patriotic civic education program.
She
writes and speaks on the role of religion in the founding and
history of America.  
She sings in her church choir, teaches
adult Sunday school, is an ardent reader, and enjoys
creative writing.

Yvonne is a sole proprietor, licensed in
the states of Mississippi, Tennessee,
and Washington, who has practiced
both civil and criminal law before state
and federal courts.
Yvonne received her J.D. at the University of Memphis,
where she had an article published in the Law Review,
Pretrial Discovery in Antitrust Cases. She later earned a
Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the
University of Memphis, graduating
magna cum laude. Her
Master’s Thesis was The Association of Family Structure
and Presence of Learning Disabilities as Related to
Incidence of Juvenile Delinquency. She earned an
undergraduate degree in criminal justice, cum laude, and
was included in Who’s Who Among Students in American
Universities and Colleges.
In her second career as an educator, Yvonne managed a
university’s criminal justice program for several years and
taught numerous courses in criminal justice, civil law,
business law and paralegal studies at colleges in both
Tennessee and Washington. She was twice recognized by
Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.  

In addition, she developed the curriculum for the new
lawyer education program for the Washington State Bar
Association. Yvonne has presented at numerous professional
seminars, including legal education seminars and criminal
justice conferences.
